GHS 50th HS Reunion

Last June, 2009, we had the enjoyable opportunity to host Glendora High School's 50th Reunion. We were the featured caterer for this event. On the 210 Fwy, several weeks prior to the date, was a large billboard advertising the event. We felt honored to have our logo there where everyone could see our name!

The event was in the planning for over 12 months. Many other companies in the community were involved by donating their wares and services to be raffled for gifts.

We served over 500 guests an elegant menu of Lobster Tail, Stuffed mango chicken, Chef-carved baron of beef, wild-rice pilaf, a variety of salads, with rolls & butter.

Doesn't this food look so yummy?

We thank Glendora High School for choosing us to cater this event!

O'Bryant's Reception

Ritz Catering had the honor of catering for the O'Bryant family's two other daughter's receptions years prior to this event.. When both of their sons had become engaged over the summer we were excited again when asked to cater a double reception. Each son would be married out of state, one in July, the other in August. So when the O'Bryan't's decided that combining both son's receptions at thier home a month later, seemed like a sensible idea.
The first picture above was what the guests saw

as they entered the reception. The next picture is what they viewed when they entered the yard of the reception. We want to point out our very own house Florist at this reception, Bel Fiore Florists. They did all the beautiful flowers for all the yard decor, the pool floats, the head table garland, the Victorian kissing Balls, and the hanging florals from the umbrellas you see to the picture at the left. Above, you see rose petals romantically spread on the lawn in front of the pool with Victorian kissing balls hung from the trees, along with twinkle lights that as the night grows darker will luminate the yard. In the picture at the left, was also put at each table several decantuers filled with candy in pinks, red, white and burgundy colors to match the color schemes. Also hanging are candles inside silver holders.
We offered a fun Italian Cream Soda Bar. Here, guests could come and order different flavors of soda of their choice. At the Buffet, we served Mexican food, a main entre of Carne Asada, Homemade Refried Beans, Mexican Rice, along with authentic hand-made flour tortillas. The guests were invited to make their own burritoes or tacos as well.
Behind the pool house was a perfect area where the O'Bryant's set up a dance floor for their guests to dance the night away. This "double son's reception" was a wonderful event all their friends and family will remember for a very long time.
